Code Kata

In addition to my regular TA work, I also organize code kata's where we get to together and practice our coding skills. I also use this time to teach programming Python, my teaching materials can be found on github.

Software Carpentry

I am a teacher at software carpentry, an organization that helps to organize 2 day workshops on software development skills. The idea is that scientists go to other institutes to teach other scientists the 'programming best practices'; like bash scripting, source control, unit testing and basic programming.
