Created this blog (finally) from notes that were on my phone.
I got the flu, so missed a couple of days, but I’m back today. I read through sections 1-3 of Currie et al. 2022 and started on trying to catch up to the missed course work.
Apparently IRDAP only works on python 3.6 and 3.7. Made a virtual env in Py3.7 and installation went smoothly. Ran the demo and set up a structure for downloading new data.
Yesterday I attended a symposium. Today mostly courses, but also tried installing IRDAP. Demo wouldn’t load due to too modern numpy. Got strange errors from the C++ compiler when installing older version …
Started the project today. Had a meeting with Matthew where we discussed the outline of the project, see figure. Created a google drive, downloaded some papers and filled in the registration form. Created an Overleaf and uploaded the standard template.
Trivial statements are trivial.
