Beautiful morning in Hamilton Island, Australia, June 2013.

Welcome to my website!

Hi there, I am so happy you ended up in my webpage!

My name is Camila Correa. I am currently finishing my PhD in Astrophysics, which I did at the University of Melbourne under the supervision of Stuart Wyithe. During my PhD I run and analysed large cosmological simulations to understand the formation and growth of the extended halos of dark matter that galaxies reside in, and how they impact on the evolution of galaxies.

I recently left Melbourne and moved to the Netherlands, to work as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Sterrewacht, Leiden Observatory with Joop Schaye and his team.

You can learn more about me and my research on ADS or have a look at the pages Research and CV & Publications pages.
