Sfinx TWM - keyboard shortcuts
Keyboard bindings
A few keyboard shortcuts are supplied. More may be added at will.
These special keys only work when your keyboard has them.
(Only Suns have Props, Front and Open; Sun and DEC have Help)
- Help : pops up a small window with help about the item the cursor is
positioned on.
This key doesn't work inside an application window, since the
application might use the Help key for its own needs.
- Meta-Help: identical to Help, but this one works even inside an
application window.
- Props: displays window properties.
- Front: raise window to the front, or if it already is the frontmost
window, push it to the back.
- Open: (de)iconifies the window.
Note : the key that is logically know as the Meta-key can be found under a
different label on the various machines :
- Sun : small square (between Alt and spacebar)
- DEC : Compose Character
- HP : Extend Char
- IBM : ???
- Tektronix X-terminals : Alt
- NCD X-terminals : ???
