Colors
After selecting Background or Foreground the
xcolorsel program is started for the selection of a color.
Click OK when you have the right color selected.
Note that Background is the color used when the root window shows a solid color; Foreground is only used for displaying bitmaps.
Root Pattern
This pops up a submenu which allows you to choose a different pattern or
image to be displayed in the background on the root window.
Most of the choices use the xbackground program, that preserves the selected settings for later sessions !! Only Default and the entries in the Special submenu are not permanent.
Root Cursor
This starts the xrootcursor program that allows you to select a
different shape for the mouse pointer when it is in the root window
(not very useful, but it may be fun).
Edit Resources
This pops up an editor window with the Xresources file, allowing you to edit
the application preferences. After you saved the file and exited the editor,
the new resources will be read for use by subsequently started applications.
Note that this does not alter the behaviour of applications that have already been started !!
Reread Twmrc
This causes TWM to reread the .twmrc configuration file. Choose this option
after you have made changes to the configuration.
