Welcome to Sfinx

SFINX (Sterrewacht Flexible Interface to X) is a system to make it easier for users to get started in the UNIX/X11 environment of Leiden Observatory. The first version was written bij Garrelt Mellema and Frank Robijn. Currently SFINX is maintained by David Jansen.

The current version, called SfinxLite (or was that Sfinx '95 ??) was released in December 1995, but many features are being added all the time.
