SFINX documents - VIM

VIM is an enhanced version of VI that can be compiled on most platforms. At the Observatory, it is available on Sun, HP, Linux, IBM and DEC (that is, everything execpt PCs).

The main differences include multi-level undo, multiple buffers, cursor keys in insert mode, online help and much more. See this document.

There is also a full reference manual available and a small list of notes about the UNIX version. And there is a copy of the online help.
