OH
Hydroxyl radical
Spectroscopy from Yousefi and Bernath was compiled by John H. Black as described in Tabone et al 2021. Collision data with ortho and para H2 are from Van den Heuvel et al (2025) and cover states up to N=13 at 3350 cm-1 for temperatures from 10 to 750 K. Collision data with H atoms are from Dagdigian (2022) and cover states up to N=3 for temperatures from 5 to 500 K. Collision data with He are from Kłos et al 2007 and cover states up to N=12 for temperatures from 10 to 500 K.

For the second dafile including hyperfine splitting, energy levels, transition frequencies and Einstein A coefficients were taken from the JPL catalogue. Collisional rate coefficients were taken from Offer et al. (1994) and cover temperatures in the range from 15 to 300 K for collisions with both para-H2 and ortho-H2. The more recent calculations by Kłos et al (2020) cover the same transitions and collision partners, but a smaller temperature range. Their results are in good agreement with the Offer et al work.
