I am a postdoctoral researcher currently working with the group of Computational Astrophysics of the Leiden Observatory which is lead by Simon Portegies Zwart.
I am interested in the dynamics of planetary systems and debris disks and especially the interaction with their surrounding environment, such as star clusters or the Galactic field. I also study the formation and history of the Solar System. The main framework for my simulations is the Astrophysical MUltipurpose Software Environment, or AMUSE.
In my PhD thesis, I was dealing with open clusters and their orbits in the Milky Way. I received my PhD from the Faculty of Science of the Masaryk University in Brno in the Czech Republic in 2013 and I also spent two years of my studies working at the European Southern Observatory in Santiago de Chile.
