Although improving our understanding of the Universe is my main motivation, training the next generation of scientits is important as I make no illusion that many more discoveries are yet to be made. Explaining the most recent insights to the general public is another important aspect. On this page you find information about the courses I have taught and currently teach, my outreach activities, and the students that I have supervised over the years. Since 2013 I have lectured undergraduate students on cosmology as part of "Big History" lecture series in Eindhoven, Rotterdam and Amsterdam. I also enjoy giving popular lectures as I consider outreach an important aspect of my work. |

| Current: Origins and Evolution of the Universe | This MSc-level course is an introduction to cosmology, discussing the basic underpinnings of our current view of the origin and evolution of structure in the Universe. | |||||
Although not part of my regular teaching duties I have lectured undergraduate students on cosmology as part of "Big History" lecture series in Eindhoven, Rotterdam and Amsterdam. At the Erasmus University College I have done this every year since the course started in 2013. |
