Galaxies: Structure, Dynamics, and Evolution (Spring 2026)
Evaluation
You will be evaluated based on your performance on the final exam (60%), the homework sets (25\%), and a paper presentation (15\%). Paper presentations will take place during the practical sessions. During the practical sessions, I will also be assigning groups of you to explain the solutions to those problems from the homework the class deems the most challenging. You are invited to ask the TA and myself for help in solving this or that problem and presenting it to the class.
