Beware of pick pockets
Last year there were 15,266 cases of pick pockets reported at the
police in Amsterdam. Organized pick pockets are particularly
active at Schiphol Airport, the red light district and near
Amsterdam central station. However, it is quite easy to prevent
being victimized. For tips and information surf to the Police
Amsterdam-Amstelland
