COURSE DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this course is to provide a general overview of the observational basis for our modern view of cosmology. This course will include a significant discussion of the major tests used to establish the age of the universe; the Hubble constant; the dark matter, dark energy, and baryonic content of the universe; the matter power spectrum; and the 'w' parameter. This course is being designed to complement "Origin and Evolution of the Universe."
